Concepts such as ‘sustainability’ and ‘green building’ have moved from being somewhat unique to being mainstream in recent years. Despite these philosophies becoming much more common, many aspects of improving our environmental impact continues to rapidly change due to innovations in technology, consumer expectations, and of course, politics.
Come join your fellow construction and project management professionals from the area to hear more about “Sustainability and Green Building” on Thursday, May 18th at the Lynnwood Convention Center to hear local experts explain how you can improve the environmental performance of your next project and understand the complexities of getting your project successfully permitted. Also, King County will also present a discussion on the lessons learned from their rapid rebuild of the West Point Treatment Plant in Seattle.
