On Wednesday, January 25th come see the top Construction Management seniors from the University of Washington, Washington State University, Oregon State University, and Central Washington University as they demonstrate their estimating skills on a recently completed project for the Museum of Flight.
Only a handful of tickets remain available until this event is full, so register here now if you plan to attend! Cost is free for 2017 NWCCC members, and $299 for non-members.
The day will start with a light breakfast and networking at the Museum of Flight’s View Lounge at 7:30am, with the competition beginning at 8:15 sharp. Lunch will be served along with a keynote talk from Paul Galeno, King County Wastewater Treatment Department’s Project Control Supervisor. Paul will discuss employers’ expectations of new construction management hires, and how a new CM graduate can best succeed in their first career role. Travis Caples, BN Builders‘ Project Manager, will review the competition project after lunch and the judges will give their constructive feedback to the teams before we adjourn at 2:00pm.
As a bonus, admission to the Museum of Flight is included in your registration. Plan to stay for an hour or two after the program and tour the incredible exhibits the Museum has to offer.
